You only needs 3 ingredients to make this recipe, but it is important to use oven safe bowls to shape and bake the dough. This is how to turn pizza dough into a salad bowl. Make your favorite salad toppings and place them into your pizza salad bowl. Be creative, add your own seasoning to the oil to match the type of salad you are eating. You can have a salad bar party with these salad bowls. People can use these “bowls” to add their own salad toppings, or you can make a giant bowl and use it to serve the salad as your center piece. Ingredients:
1 can Pillsbury pizza crust dough
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon mixed seasoning such as Ms. Dash
Instructions:
Preheat oven at 400 degrees
Mix oil and seasoning together
Divide the dough into 4 portions
Roll each portion of dough into a 1/8 inch thick square
Brush the seasoning oil on to each square piece of dough
Place each greased dough on an oven safe upside-down bowl
Carefully stretch the dough to cover the bottom of the upside-down bowl
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes until the dough turns light brown
Carefully take the baked dough off the bakeware and remove the bakeware from the baking sheet
Turn the salad bowl right side up and bake for another 5 minutes until the inside becomes lightly brown
Let cool for 5 minutes before placing your favorite salad inside the bowl
